Night Ranger

Hard Rock Band Known for "Sister Christian" & "Don't Tell Me You Love Me"

Night Ranger, a hard rock band, has made significant strides in the music industry since its formation in 1979. Known for their 1980s hits including the power ballad "Sister Christian," the band's first five albums sold over 10 million copies worldwide, achieving a total of 17 million albums sold. The band members, including Jack Blades, Brad Gillis, Kelly Keagy, Eric Levy, and Keri Kelli, have been integral to this success. Brad Gillis and Kelly Keagy have remained the band's constant members, navigating through the band's hiatus from 1989 to 1991, and the surge of popularity they experienced in the 1980s.

The band's debut album "Dawn Patrol" brought them recognition with the hit single "Don't Tell Me You Love Me". Their subsequent album, "Midnight Madness," catapulted them to even greater fame with the iconic track "Sister Christian". This success led to Night Ranger achieving headliner status by the summer of 1984. Their contributions to various movie soundtracks in the mid-1980s, including songs for "Teachers," "Explorers," "Sixteen Candles," and "Out of Bounds" further cemented their place in the music industry.

Despite disbanding in the early 1990s, Night Ranger has maintained an active presence in the music industry, continuing to record and tour. Recent activities include a special show in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba for U.S. Navy and Marine troops in January 2008, and the release of a live DVD/double CD "35 Years and a Night in Chicago" in 2016 to celebrate their 35th anniversary. The release of their latest studio album "ATBPO" on August 6, 2021, demonstrates the band's resilience and enduring appeal in the world of hard rock, glam metal, and arena rock.
