Nika Nour          

Director of the International Game Developers Association

Nika Nour is executive director of the IGDA Foundation, where she is focused on improving diversity and inclusion. She was responsible for helping launch the Black in Gaming Awards and Latinx in Gaming Conference, as well as pivoting Game Developers Conference scholarships to an online format during the pandemic. Nika Nour is on a mission to advance inclusion efforts for women, minorities, LGBTQ, & accessibility in the video game industry.

Before joining ESA, Nika Nour served as the Director of Communications and Creative Strategies for the Internet Association. There, she was responsible for their digital advocacy efforts, congressional district programming, and strategic partnerships. A veteran of creating and managing public policy content, Nika was the New Media Specialist for the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Energy and Commerce. Nour graduated with a Masters of Science focused in Biodefense from George Mason University, a Masters of Arts in Strategic Public Relations from George Washington University, and her Doctorate from UC Irvine in Philosophy.
