Noni Purnomo received her Bachelor of Engineering degree from University of Newcastle, Australia, and earned her Master of Business Administration in Finance and Marketing from University of San Francisco, USA.

She had been involved in the Blue Bird Group since she was little, when this family business was established back in 1972 at the family home’s garage on Jl. Cokroaminoto, Central Jakarta, Indonesia. Currently, Noni is the President Director (CEO) of the Blue Bird Group Holding who is responsible in managing group business’ portfolio. She has earned the trust to lead the holding company due to her significant contribution in building Business Development Division which focuses on corporate strategy, public relations, communications, business process improvements, quality control, marketing, and information technology within the maintenance department of the Group’s Passenger Transportation Division (PT. Blue Bird, Tbk).

Business Development Division that she created currently serves its purpose at Blue Bird Taxi, Silver Bird Executive Taxi, Golden Bird Limousine and Car Rental, Big Bird Charter, and several other taxi companies which operate under the Blue Bird Group. These companies serve millions of customers every month in 12 cities, including Jakarta, Medan, Padang, Pekanbaru, Batam, Palembang, Banten, Bandung, Semarang, Surabaya, Bali, Lombok, and Manado. Currently, Blue Bird Group owns 34,000 vehicles and employs more than 38,500 professional drivers.

Noni’s vision for the Blue Bird Group Holding is to build sustainable, quality driven operating companies under the group to ensure the prosperity of all stakeholders. In facing a yet more challenging future within the industry, she truly believes in continuous quality improvements of Blue Bird’s services. The three pillars that drive her actions are product excellence, process excellence, and people excellence, supported by solid infrastructures.

All of her accomplishments within the group were achieved because of her belief that balancing corporate growth and corporate culture is the important factors of the Blue Bird Group’s success. Besides managing the Blue Bird Group Holding, she is now also the President of Blue Bird Peduli (Blue Bird Care – a philanthropy division of Blue Bird Group) which recently launched the 'Women Empowerment Project' that empowers more than 30,000 wives of Blue Bird Group employees and drivers.

Among many of her prestigious recognitions in the past, she was just recently voted as one of 2015 Power Business Women in Asia by Forbes Asia.
