Multi-Awarded Filipino Youth Leader, Development Practitioner, Researcher, Writer & Social Entrepreneur

Norby Roque Salonga is a multi-awarded Filipino youth leader, public speaker, development practitioner, researcher, writer and social entrepreneur. He is the founder of The WHY. In 2015, he helped develop De La Salle University's award-winning Lasallian Social Enterprise for Economic Development (LSEED) Center. At present, he serves as the Founding Director of LSEED Center, the university's Center for Social Entrepreneurship and Innovation.

As a development practitioner, he led and handled the implementation of various programs in sectors of transportation, education, health, and local economic development with support from international organizations and funding agencies.

Currently, he also serves as a YSEALI Professional Fellow for Economic Empowerment of the U.S. Department of State and American Council for International Education and Global Coach of Underdogs South Korea. Mr. Salonga is currently taking up his Doctor of Philosophy in Philippine Studies major in Development Studies minor in Foreign Relations at the University of the Philippines Diliman, where he also obtained his degree in community development. He is a Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP) as awarded by the International Federation of Professional Managers United Kingdom.
