Co-Founder & CEO of Mejuri, A High-End Direct-to-Consumer Jewelry Brand

Noura Sakkijha is the co-founder and CEO of Mejuri, a high-end direct-to-consumer jewelry brand that cuts out middlemen, passing on the savings to consumers.

Sakkijha is the third generation of her family that works in the fine jewelry industry, but she had her own ideas about how to modernize the industry with her own fresh twist.

The Jordan-born entrepreneur’s company graduated from 500 Startups’ San Francisco accelerator and is an alumnus of Montreal’s FounderFuel program for early-stage startups.

She is a member of the board of directors at GoodWill. She was named one of the 10 Web-Savvy Entrepreneurs to Watch on Yahoo and is a winner of multiple business awards.

Sakkijha is holds a degree in industrial engineering from the University of Jordan. She also holds an MBA degree.

Sakkijha lives in Toronto, Ontario, and is a mother to twin girls.
