A global expert on electric vehicle business strategy and operational execution

With nearly 20 years experience, Oliver leads PRTMs global e-Mobility practice as well as the firms North American Automotive practice. As a PRTM partner, Oliver works with CEOs and senior executives within global organizations across the transportation value chain (utilities/energy, smart grid, battery and components, OEMs/vehicle manufacturers, service providers, commercial fleet providers and government/public sector agencies) on their operational strategies and business model innovation.

Oliver combines deep technical and business expertise to help clients transform their businesses as the market shifts toward greener vehicles. He has worked with traditional automotive companies for nearly two decades, giving him unique insight as he leads organizations through this industry transformation. Oliver collaborates closely with PRTM Directors across other practice areas (i.e. Energy and Smart Grid) to develop cross-industry strategies and identify best practices. Oliver helps clients with technology and business model models and innovation, cost reductions, cross-ecosystem integration, and supply chain issues. Olivers clients are located across the US, Europe, China and the Middle East.

Oliver is often called upon by media for perspective on automotive and electric vehicle trends. Oliver (PRTM) was the only management consultant invited to attend high-level electric vehicle discussions led by Prince Albert of Monaco in Copenhagen in 2010. He frequently publishes articles on business and technology innovation in publications including Fortune and Forbes. He is also invited to moderate senior-level panels at conferences such as SAE World Congress.

Prior to joining PRTM, Oliver was a Principal at A.T. Kearney, where he served as member of the global automotive practice, representing clients in the US, Germany, France, Italy, and the UK. Oliver received his MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison under a Fulbright Scholarship, and taught technology and innovation management. He also has a BS from the Technical University of Berlin, Germany where his studies included electrical engineering and general business administration.
