Olutosin “Olu” Burrell, President and C.E.O. of Spoken IV Solutions LLC (d/b/a Olu Burrell Consulting), is an Executive/Leadership Coach, People Strategy, and D.E.I. Consultant. His 20 years of experience includes working with individuals and teams in local and federal government, the not-for-profit and private sectors, as well as in K-12 and higher education.

Burrell serves in several leadership development capacities. He is Adjunct Faculty and Executive Coach for the Executive Leadership Council’s Institute for Leadership Development and Research. In these roles, he coaches and facilitates session for leaders at for-profit organizations who belong to both the Fortune 1000 and Global 500. Additionally, Burrell serves as an Executive Coach in leadership programs at three notable institutions of higher education: the Key Executive Leadership Program in the School of Public Affairs at American University (AU), the Executive MBA program at the Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Loui, as well as in the Center for Excellence in Public Leadership at the George Washington University (GWU-CEPL).

A sought-after speaker, moderator, and facilitator, Burrell counts storytelling and spoken word as part of his strengths and, where appropriate, includes them in his engagements as he encourages his clients to craft their own legend. This includes A student of inquiry, he treats the interrogative as the imperative in establishing connection, and most importantly, breakthrough.

Burrell holds a Master of Science in Organization Development from American University, a Bachelor of Arts in English from Howard University, and a graduate certificate in Comprehensive Evidence-Based Coaching from Fielding Graduate University. Burrell is certified with the International Coach Federation (ICF) as a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) as well as with the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC) where he recently earned a global individual accreditation as a Senior Practitioner. Burrell also holds certifications in several instruments /assessments such as the Leadership Circle Profile 360 (LCP) and its companion the Collective Leadership Assessment (CLA), the Emotional-Social Competency Inventory 360 (ESCI), the Intercultural Development & Conflict Style Inventories (IDI & ICI), as well as in the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI).

A fifth-generation Washingtonian, Burrell resides in the nation’s capitol with his wife Farran and their two children, Samara and Solomon.
