Cuban-American Actor & Comedian; Known for "The Office" & "The Lost City"

Oscar Nuñez, a well-known figure in the entertainment industry, gained popularity for his portrayal of Óscar Martínez on NBC's "The Office." His involvement in the world of improv was marked by his membership in The Groundlings, an iconic comedy troupe. His creativity saw him co-creating and starring in the Comedy Central series "Halfway Home" in 2007. Nuñez's versatility was further showcased when he co-starred in the USA Network comedy series "Benched" in 2014.

In addition to his extensive television work, Nuñez made a significant impact in advertising. Since 2018, he has appeared in a series of State Farm commercials, demonstrating his ability to engage with a broad audience. His talent for stage performances was highlighted when he starred as Desi Arnaz in the stage production "I Love Lucy: A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Sitcom" in 2018. The following year, he took on the role of Assistant Principal Carlos Hernandez in the Netflix original comedy series "Mr. Iglesias," which lasted until 2020.

Nuñez's career continued to flourish in the subsequent years. In 2023, he graced the silver screen in the movies "Dashing Through the Snow" and "The Long Game." His voice acting skills were put to use in the animated series "3Below: Tales of Arcadia," where he voiced Sergeant Costas for nine episodes from 2018 to 2019. Currently, he is voicing the character Chef Fernando in the TV series "Firebuds" and is set to voice the character Oscar in an episode of "Solar Opposites" in 2024.
