Paige Brown has an abiding love of new places and experiences. During her college days at SMU, the self-confessed "travel fanatic" spent four months on a ship sailing the world. She took up scuba and became a certified dive master. After working in client services for an ad agency in Denver (Coors was her primary client), she spent a year in Karlsruhe, Germany, as a technology transition consultant for Accenture. She returned speaking fluent German.

Given her background, perhaps it's not surprising that Paige was President of Owen's Global Business Association. Or that she was a coordinator for Owen Bridges, which promotes closer ties between the school's U.S. and international students. Or that she and three teammates participated in the NUS Business School Case Competition in Singapore–and advanced three rounds, to the semifinals. Or that she ran Owen's much-loved Global Food Festival in 2009, which has become a major annual event.

"One of my main goals at Owen was to bring together other cultures, and to encourage domestic students to become more international," Paige says. "To see all of the different cultures here sharing with each other during the festival was one of the highlights of my time here at Owen."

During the summer og 2009, Paige drew on her new business expertise to pursue her love of travel in yet another way. She started a company, Tripeezy, which will revolve around customizable online travel guides and social media.
