Computing Curriculum Engineer, Khan Academy

Pamela Fox is a computer science content engineer for Khan Academy, where she creates the computer-programming curriculum that is teaching the next generation of programmers. She teaches classes for the San Francisco chapter of Girl Develop It, a nonprofit organization that she founded and for which she creates Creative Commons-licensed curriculum. Previously, Fox was one of the first front-end engineers at Coursera, where she coded much of the student-facing experience. Before that, she was a developer advocate at Google, where she worked on the Maps and Wave APIs and then wrote the Developer Support Handbook to help future people in her role.
