Pamela Zapata is a bi-coastal talent and marketing executive who brings a unique range of experience to the table, including over 12 years of mastering influencer strategy, integrated marketing, talent relations, casting, and production for some of the biggest networks, brands, and agencies in the industry. In 2019 she founded Society 18, a bicoastal influencer management and consulting agency with a focus on multicultural and multiethnic content creators and digital strategy. Zapata leverages her unique strategic insights to maximize sponsorships and optimize campaign performance to benefit both her clients and brands. She skillfully guides clients through the complexities involved with brand partnerships, while also focusing on personal brand building, channel growth and optimization, and new business.

Prior to launching Society 18, Zapata was the Senior Director of Influencer Marketing at Starpower where she oversaw multiple campaign and influencer casting initiatives for key beauty brands including Estée Lauder, Bobbi Brown, MAC, BECCA and La Mer. She was responsible for campaign ideation through concept execution, while also overseeing strategy, client management, and talent relations. Prior to her role at Starpower, she was the Director of Influencer Marketing at United Entertainment Group, where she led influencer partnerships, strategy, procurement, negotiations, and campaign reporting for various personal care brands within the Unilever portfolio including Suave, Dove, Love Beauty Planet, Axe, and Popsicle.

Before moving to NYC, Zapata had roots in LA at E! Entertainment, Ryan Seacrest Productions, Style Haul, and Sweety High, where she held roles focused on integrated marketing, strategy, development, production, talent, and casting. Zapata has dedicated years of her career to cultivating valued relationships and has successfully and strategically utilized influencers and talent for digital and on-air programming, brand sponsorships, and events to support business initiatives, drive ratings, and increase revenue.

In 2019, Zapata founded Society 18, an influencer marketing and management agency that focuses on multicultural creators. The first-generation Latina says she launched the agency because she noticed a diversity gap in representation and compensation. Society 18 represents 20 influencers and has helped them sign a collective 850 campaigns with brands including Sephora, Nordstrom, Prada and Disney.
