Patricia Aburdene is one of the world’s leading social forecasters, co-author of the New York Times number one bestseller "Megatrends 2000" and a world-renowned speaker. Aburdene is a dynamic and inspiring speaker. Since the publication of Megatrends in 1982, Aburdene has traveled the world lecturing to thousands of business and community leaders about how to confront the challenges — and capitalize on the opportunities — of social change. With a quarter of a century of Megatrends material to draw from, Aburdene excels at customizing her talks and workshops for audiences of every stripe. She has lectured throughout the U.S., Canada, Europe, South America, Australia and the Pacific Rim for clients like Herman Miller, Harley Davidson, Deloitte and IBM.

Aburdene's books have greatly impacted the business landscape. Aburdene was John Naisbitt’s collaborator on the publishing phenomenon "Megatrends," which topped charts in the U.S., Germany and Japan. She co-wrote the best-selling "Re-inventing the Corporation and Megatrends for Women." Her book "Conscious Money: Living, Creating, and Investing with Your Values for a Sustainable New Prosperity" is a blueprint for growing wealth with integrity and making a difference by integrating human values into personal finance. Aburdene's landmark book "Megatrends 2010: The Rise of Conscious Capitalism" launched a business revolution.

In 2012, Aburdene was named one of America’s “Top 100 Thought Leaders in Trustworthy Business” by Trust Across America. She is as an Ambassador for the Conscious Capitalism Institute, an advisor to Dallas-based social equity firm, Satori Capital, and serves on the Vail Leadership Institute’s Board of Scholars.

Aburdene's journalism career began at Forbes magazine in 1978. She was a Public Policy Fellow at Radcliffe College and holds a BA in philosophy from Newton College of the Sacred Heart (now Boston College), a MS in library science from Catholic University and three honorary doctorates.
