Hair Theater is a chit chat- comedy- story telling- art form that is inspired by the evolution of Pat's hairdos and popular culture and focused mainly on the 1950s and 1960s.

Patricia Wynn Brown is founder and performer of the episodes from Hair Theater(R). Hair Theater is a chit chat- comedy- story telling- art form that is inspired by the evolution of Pat's hairdos and popular culture and focused mainly on the 1950s and 1960s (when hair and music reigned). Hair Theater is a humorous state of mind resulting from Pat's ingestion of too much hairspray in her high school restroom and some wacky brain wave alterations, caused by sleeping on those very irritating brush rollers and scalp-gouging pink picks. There is a performance theme suited for every event and program. Pat is a humorist, performer, author, and masters degree level communications specialist. Her inspiring Hair Theater episodes play to sold out audiences. She is the winner of the James Thurber Humor Writing Contest and was named by Sunny 95 radio as an "Outstanding Woman You Should Know." Pat was voted a finalist in the Business First, "Health Care Heroes" competition for her philanthropic work in raising money for wigs for women in financial need, who have lost their hair as a result of chemotherapy. "The Hairdo Monologues" are part of the Hair Theater repertoire. This is a communications/performance training workshop that not only methodically develops the participants' skills in self-expression and communication proficiency but adds the razzle dazzle layer of a performance as the final workshop goal. Pat's two books are: Hair-A-Baloo and Momma Culpa. Pat was inducted into her high school Hall of Fame (for pretty much the same antics she was given detention for in high school). She is an award winning Irish step dancer, a humble student of ballet, and for one shining moment, a "Rockette for the Day."
