Patrick Bet-David's family immigrated to America when he was 10 years old. His parents fled Iran at the time of the Iranian Revolution and were granted citizenship in the United States. After graduation from high school, Bet-David enlisted in the U.S. military and served with the 101st Airborne before beginning his career in the financial services industry. A few years into his career with traditional companies, he was inspired to establish PHP Agency Inc., an insurance sales, marketing, and distribution company – and managed to do so before turning 30.

In 2013, Bet-David founded Valuetainment, a media brand intended to teach entrepreneurship fundamentals and inspire people to break free from detrimental beliefs and limitations. In addition to providing news, other content partners, and a weekly podcast, it has been dubbed "the best channel for entrepreneurs" in the field online. Speaking on topics ranging from leadership, management and entrepreneurship, Bet-David discusses the “how and why” to become an entrepreneur, as well as the importance of learning how to fully process issues.
