Cp-Founder, Arc Institute; Co-Founder & CEO of Stripe

Patrick Collison is an Irish billionaire entrepreneur. He is the co-founder and CEO of Stripe. Stripe lets businesses and individuals accept payments over the internet and investors for the company include Elon Musk and Peter Thiel.

He won the 41st Young Scientist and Technology Exhibition in 2005 at the age of sixteen. He was also the individual runner-up at the 40th Young Scientist and Technology Exhibition. The future CEO left high school early to attend MIT.

In 2010, he co-founded Stripe with his brother, John Collison. The brothers are two of the most successful entrepreneurs to come out of Y Combinator's accelerator program. The natives of Limerick, Ireland built their first startup, Auctomatic, at Y Combinator in 2007, selling it for millions. Now, the YC alums have branched out on their own for their second company, white-hot payments startup, Stripe.

In 2020, the 33-year-old founded Fast Grants to accelerate COVID-19-related science with Tyler Cowen.
