Actor; Known for "Prison Break" & "Private Practice"

Paul Adelstein is an actor, most known for playing the role of Agent Paul Kellerman in the television series, "Prison Break," and as Cooper Freedman in "Private Practice."

In addition to supporting roles in films such as "Intolerable Cruelty" and "Memoirs of a Geisha," he is also known for his recurring role as Leo Bergen on ABC's "Scandal" and as Jake Novak in the Bravo television series "Girlfriends' Guide to Divorce." In 2019, Adelstein signed on to appear in a recurring role in "Chicago P.D."

Adelstein made his film debut in 1990 in "The Grifters," which starred John Cusack, and later appeared in "Peoria Babylon." He then went on to appear in several television series which include "Cupid," "ER," "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit," "Without a Trace," "Scrubs" and "Chance."

Prior to his professional acting career, Adelstein attended Bowdoin College where he graduated with a degree in English. He later began his career in theatre, working with New Crime Productions, a company founded by John Cusack, and later with the Steppenwolf Theatre Company.
