CEO at Insurance Thought Leadership, Partner at Devil's Advocate Group & Co-Author of "The New Killer Apps"

Paul is the CEO of Insurance Thought Leadership and a co-founder of and partner with the Devil's Advocate Group. He writes, lectures and consults widely on business strategy and innovation.

He is the co-author, with Chunka Mui, of "The New Killer Apps: How Large Companies Can Out-Innovate Start-Ups," published in the fall of 2013. He and Chunka also wrote "Billion-Dollar Lessons: What You Can Learn From the Most Inexcusable Business Failures of the Last 25 Years," published in the fall of 2008. He also wrote "Big Blues: The Unmaking of IBM," a best-seller published in 1993. Paul spent 17 years as a reporter and editor at the Wall Street Journal. He was nominated twice for a Pulitzer Prize and was a finalist in 1996. He founded and edited Context magazine, which was a finalist in 2001 for the National Magazine Award for General Excellence, the industry's highest honor.
