Head Football Coach of Wisconsin Badgers

Paul Chryst has his dream job as the head football coach at his alma mater, Wisconsin. Chyrst is now tasked with continuing the great tradition of the Badgers. He has recent experience with the program, having served as the offensive coordinator from 2005-2011. Chryst left Madison to become a head coach at Pittsburgh and compiled a 19-19 record in three seasons. In addition to college, he has NFL and CFL coaching experience. Chryst had two stints as the offensive coordinator at Oregon State and developed players like Steven Jackson, Derek Anderson, and Beavers’ all-time leading rusher Ken Simonton. He began his coaching career as a graduate assistant at West Virginia. Chryst’s father, George, was a head coach at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. One can say that after all his stops, life has come full circle for the Madison, Wisconsin native.
