Paul Gertner has appeared as a performer at every major magic convention in the United States. In addition to performing, he holds teaching seminars for magicians in the United States, Japan, England, Paris, Brussels, Amsterdam, Rome, and other major cities throughout Europe.

Paul Gertner is recognized by his peers as one of the finest sleight-of-hand magicians in the world today. First place awards in international competitions in Las Vegas and Madrid confirm this status. His original routines, the Cups and Balls with Steel Ball Bearings and the Ring on the Hourglass, have become classics of magic - leaving experts totally amazed.

Paul Gertner is a member of a select group of magicians known as corporate magicians. He is in great demand by a wide range of corporations to combine his sleight-of-hand magic with the company sales message at trade shows, sales meetings and hospitality suites.

Paul Gertner has won many awards, including: 1st prize for Close-up Magician of the Year in 1994 & 1995 by the Academy of Magical Arts, Hollywood, California 1st prize for Lecturer of the Year in 1994 by the Academy of Magical Arts, Hollywood, California 1st prize in the 1985 World International Magic Congress Competition in Madrid, Spain and 1st prize in the 1983 $20,000 Las Vegas Sleight-of-Hand Challenge.

Paul Gertner has made many television appearances on ABC, PBS, NBC, and the BBC, including three appearances on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson. He has several publications available, including Paul Gertner's Steel and Silver, and the corresponding video series.
