Paul Irving  

President, Milken Institute

Paul Irving is president and a member of the Milken Institute board. In addition to executive leadership, Irving heads programs to enhance philanthropic impact, expand capital access and opportunity, and improve the lives of seniors across America and the world. Irving is a member of the boards of directors of and Operation Hope, the board of counselors of the USC Davis School of Gerontology, the advisory board of Partners for Livable Communities, and is a senior advisor to Peace First and New Roads School. Irving also serves on the board of East West Bancorp. Previously, Irving was an advanced leadership fellow at Harvard University and chairman, CEO, managing partner and head of the financial services group of Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, a prominent law and consulting firm. Irving attended New York University, Harvard University and Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, where he served as an adjunct professor and received the Board of Governors Award for outstanding contributions to society and the law.
