In 1981, Paul Marciano founded a small denim company with his brothers in Los Angeles, California.

Mr. Marciano's discerning style has shaped Guess' image from its inception. Serving as Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the brand, Mr. Marciano is credited with creating some of the most innovative and ground-breaking campaigns throughout the history of advertising. He has been instrumental in the growth and prosperity of the Guess brands, which include Guess, Guess by Marciano, G by Guess and Guess Accessories, as well as all licensed products including eyewear, footwear, fragrance, handbags, jewelry and watches. Today, Guess and its licensed products are distributed throughout South America, Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia and the Middle East.
