Paul Taylor is executive vice president of the Pew Research Center, overseeing its demographic, social, and generational research. Before helping to launch Pew in 2003, he was president and board chairman of the Alliance for Better Campaigns, which sought to reduce the cost and improve the content of political campaign communication on television. Taylor was a newspaper reporter for 25 years, the last 14 at The Washington Post. He is the author of The Next America: Boomers, Millennials and the Looming Generational Showdown and See How They Run and co-author of The New News v. the Old News.
