Penn Badgley is an American actor and musician. He currently stars as Joe Goldberg in Netflix’s thriller series, "YOU," based on the bestselling novel of the same name. He is also well known for his role as Dan Humphrey in The CW teen drama series "Gossip Girl."

Badgley has also appeared in a number of films, including John Tucker Must Die, The Stepfather, Easy A, Margin Call, and Greetings from Tim Buckley. He is also the lead singer for Brooklyn-based indie band MOTHXR who went on tour promoting their debut studio album, Centerfold. He is married to singer Domino Kirke.
