Peter Belmi is an Assistant Professor of Leadership and Organizational Behavior at the Darden School of Business, University of Virginia. He received his Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior from the Graduate School of Business at Stanford University. He is interested in the causes and consequences of inequality, why it tends to persist, and how it impedes members of disadvantaged groups from achieving success. His research has been published in top-tier journals, such as Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, Personality and Social Psychology Bulletin, and the Academy of Management Discoveries. His work has been featured by the Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg Business Week, Fortune, Huffington Post, The Financial Times, Priceonomics, Public Radio International, and Harvard Business Review. Peter teaches a doctoral course in leadership and organizational behavior, and a First Year MBA elective called "The Paths to Power."
