Peter Fredell was one of the first employees at OMX in 1985, when the first marketplace for options in the world was initiated. Today, the world sees Options Markets as natural and there is no major stock exchange in the world without it. But when Mr. Fredell started out in the nineties, it was no less than a journey to moon. The expertise he developed thereafter, led him to share his knowledge with different companies across the globe. His first destination was Switzerland where he became the manager of option trades at Bank Leu and occupied himself in starting the Swiss options market SOFFEX. His next stint was with the investment bank Bankers Trust in the USA where he worked at senior management level within capital market and corporate finance. Since 1992 Peter Fredell has been operating the investment company Fredell and Co AB. Other board assignments in his portfolio include EuropeLoan Finance NV in Belgium and the companies within the Fredell Group. His love and fascination for technology permeates his life even beyond work and he is a self-confessed gizmo-freak. Peter Fredell has studied economics at the University of Stockholm.
