Peter Gloor is a digital pioneer and thought leader renowned for his contributions at the MIT Center for Collective Intelligence, where he played a key role in the development of the World Wide Web and the concept of "Collaborative Innovation Networks" (COINs). His research combines social network analysis, machine learning, and artificial intelligence to explore collaboration and knowledge creation in both digital and physical spaces.

Gloor has authored several influential books, including "Swarm Creativity," "Coolhunting," and "Coolfarming," which focus on leveraging social networks and emergent behavior for innovation. His work has significantly influenced how organizations foster open, collaborative environments.

As the founder and Chief Creative Officer at Galaxy Sciences, Gloor applies his research to help organizations optimize their innovation strategies. At Galaxy Labs, a research and development hub, he and his team experiment with new technologies to advance our understanding of social networks. Through his start-up, Fauna.ai, Gloor is pioneering the use of AI and machine learning to analyze patterns in animal populations, aiming to gain insights that can inform conservation efforts and enhance our understanding of the natural world.

He is an Honorary Professor at University of Cologne and at Jilin University, Changchun, China, and a Distinguished Visiting Professor at Pontifical Catholic University of Chile. Earlier in his career, he was a Partner with Deloitte and PwC, a Software Leader at UBS and a Post-Doctorate Fellow at MIT. He has a PhD in computer science from University of Zurich.
