An energetic and engaging speaker, Phil Goodman knows the Boomer Generation like no other. His book, Boomers: The Ageless Generation, is required reading in many college and university courses. Using research and actual business experience of the Boomers, Phil provides straighforward, dow-to-earth marketing techniques. After 30 years in the advertising and marketing business, he observed a subtle change in consumer media use and spending patterns. As these patterns became more distinct, Phil began to research and document these differences, leading to the founding of the Boomer Marketing & Research Center (now known as GTM). To Phil and members of his company, demographics are not as important as strategies based on the psychology of marketing, or psychographics. His extensive study of the Baby Boom Generation has been put to use by the FOX Broadcasting company, The Wall Street Journal, The American Hotel Association, The National Tour Association, USA Today, The National Association of Broadcasters and The Ford Company.
