Phil Laak as a professional poker player holds the World Poker Tour title, and he is a bracelet winner of World Series of Poker in Las Vegas. As being a poker commentator he has appeared on many television shows playing, as well as commentating.

In 2009, he won $250,000 and was crowned as party poker World Open V Champion. The Unabomber has set a world record for playing the longest session of poker for 115 hours. In total, he has won more than $3.8 million on live poker tournaments. Currently, pokerstar is the host of the largest online poker tournaments in the world, where many poker players are attending and winning huge amounts of real money.

His energetic personality has made him a TV fan favorite on just about every poker TV show from the World Poker Tour to High Stakes Poker. With almost $2.5 million in tournament winnings including a World Poker Tour victory and a WSOP bracelet, he is considered to be one of the best players around.

Phil Laak also holds the Guinness World Record for Poker Endurance after clocking a marathon 115 hour poker session at the Bellagio in Las Vegas.
