Porter William is host and creator of Entertaining People San Francisco Style, the hottest new Bay Area food, wine, style and travel magazine show.

The show premiered on local stations in the Bay Area in December of 2007. In each show, Porter presents food, wine, style and travel with an insider's look at the Bay Area's rich and diverse culinary scene. Porter combines a lifetime of event planning, entertaining and world travel as an architectural antiquities importer for his design firm World Relics Vintage Marketplace.

Known as a cross between Martha Stewart and Indiana Jones, Porter brings his lifelong memories and adventures to the viewer and empowers them to entertain with jaw-dropping style and ease. The show was shot in his historic home and on location giving cooking demonstrations, party planning tips, specialty product and travel reviews as well having fun out on the town at various hip social happenings.

Porter began his culinary affair at the age of 8 when he was given his first Betty Crocker's Boys and Girl's cook book and remained a self-taught chef from that early influence in his childhood and continuing during his many trips across the globe. Some of his fondest childhood memories are in the kitchen of his grandparents' restaurant. The tables of the world have been his classroom for developing his palate and culinary technique coupled with his deep passion for food, wine and style. Once bit by the food and travel bug, Porter weaved event planning throughout his career now spanning more than two decades. He is known as a true soul-chef, bringing his American roots and diverse cross-cultural European influence to the American table.

In 1998, Porter found his way traversing the globe searching for lost antiquities and treasures to adorn American homes with a design style found no where else. He is a resource for the world's most elite clients under his brand World Relics located in the South of France and in San Francisco. Life is traveling the world uncovering the most unique and rare finds from lost and forgotten chateau, villas discarded by lost civilizations. His pieces are built into modern homes creating the  style and presence of one man's eye for the past. 

As a highly sought after marketing and advertising professional, Porter has worked on a pro bono basis for multiple charities throughout his career with a special interest in the arts, HIV-AIDS and child abuse prevention and care organizations. He is often found working in Europe, digging up treasures and recipes in the most remote places but is always most comfortable relaxing with friends or clients at home.  Porter lives in San Francisco and considers it home after 21 years.
