Priscilla Richardson

The Communication Guru increases any engineer's productivity by at least 10% with her business success tools.

She's a "recovering attorney"(although still licensed) with a passion to help others to success. Priscilla used to teach and practice law. The lure of freelance writing called, however, in 1984. Then in 1994 she started training in all kinds of communication/marketing skills. She turns participants' ideas UPside down.

Since all business communication is selling — yes, think about it, even the email down the hail to a coworker — marketing communication also joined her repertoire. Writing email efficiently and creating sales copy for your brochure are two of her marketing /communication seminar offerings.

Priscilla conquered her own fear of public speaking by using techniques she developed via her own research. When she talks about what to do when feeling faint, she knows because she has had that happen. When she talks about not being able to get to sleep the night before, she knows how to help because she has that problem herself And deals with it.

So her next foray into training was to help others tame their fear. This popular seminar and her many published articles have helped thousands put their speaking fear aside. To let their brilliance shine through.

As Priscilla often remarks during presentations, her graduate degrees — in law from the University of Virginia School of Law and in history from Memphis University — don't qualify her in communications. Rather, a lifetime of constant study and practice have given her skills she uses every day as she continues freelance writing, copywriting, and consulting. As she trains and gives keynotes.

Today, with over one hundred fifty articles (and more coming all the time) she writes for print media as varied as Successful Meetings and The Practicing CPA, and for e-zines. Including her own.

Entrepreneur & Successful Meetings magazines, and the Roanoke Times & Blue Ridge Business Journal all have publicized her training and speaking skills. She's also a member of the National & Virginia Speakers Associations, Authors Guild, & American Society for Training & Development.

Priscilla lends her expertise to the Vivace! Chamber Music Society and Opera Roanoke, serving on their boards. She is an elder in the Presbyterian Church USA and has served several three year terms on church sessions, preaching when called upon.

This diversity of experience the years has honed her ability to communicate and teach people how to do it effectively. She helps others write and speak for success. As she says

Association training

I think you did a terrific job with my all-day business writing seminar. I'll be back in touch in the near future regarding the courses I would like to have written and offer to my members via the Internet and regular mail.
