Frank Bennett Gonzalez currently serves as the Executive in Charge of Diversity, Programs, and Committees for The Directors Guild of America, Inc. As the Guild's Head of Diversity, he is responsible for coordinating the Guild’s diversity strategy, managing its new and existing talent diversity programs, overseeing the national DGA diversity committees, and leading the Guild’s efforts to implement and enforce the studio and TV networks' contractual diversity-related obligations.

Previously, he served as Director, Creative Talent Development, for the Disney | ABC Television Group (DATG) Talent Development & Diversity team. As a key member of the original staff, he was involved in the launch of the department and many ground-breaking talent development initiatives, including the Disney | ABC Directing Program and the Disney | ABC Writing Program. During his tenure at Disney | ABC, he developed and refined the writing program to one of the top writer staffing and development programs in the television business.

Frank also tracked and pitched seasoned writers & directors to creative executives and led the department’s outreach to recruit diverse creative talent for Disney | ABC. Within the network/studio system, he collaborated closely with programming executives, senior executives, and TV creators/showrunners in addition to working with professional industry organizations such as The Writers Guild of America/West, The Directors Guild of America, and SAG/AFTRA.
