Rachel Haot most recently served as Executive Director of the Transit Innovation Partnership, a public-private initiative of New York’s MTA and the Partnership for New York City. Prior to this she was the first Chief Digital Officer for New York City and later, for New York State. Rachel was also Managing Director at global incubator and seed fund 1776, leading NY operations. Earlier in her career, she was Founder and CEO of GroundReport, a crowdsourced global news platform.

She has been named a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader, Chief Digital Officer of the Year (CDO Summit), Fast Company’s Most Creative People in Business, Forbes 30 Under 30, Fortune 40 Under 40, Crains 40 Under 40, Marie Claire Women of Influence, Gotham Most Influential Women, City & State Most Powerful Women in New York and as an Above and Beyond awardee. The products created under her leadership have won honors including TIME’s Best Inventions of 2021, Webby Awards and the Cannes Gold Lion award. She previously served on the boards of Tech:NYC and the Regional Plan Association.
