Head of Modalities at Uber

Rachel Holt leads Uber’s New Mobility organization, which includes JUMP and our efforts across bikes, scooters, transit, hourly rentals, and more. Prior to taking on this role, Holt was the Regional General Manager for US and Canada, leading our business across Uber’s largest region. In 2011, Holt joined Uber as the General Manager of Washington, DC, growing the city into one of Uber’s largest and fastest-growing markets at the time.

Holt began her career at Bain & Company, advising companies in the private equity, media, and healthcare industries, and then in brand management at Clorox before leaving to join Uber. She graduated magna cum laude from Amherst College and earned her MBA from Stanford University, where she was an Arjay Miller Scholar. She was ranked No. 9 on Fortune's 40 under 40 in 2016 and was named by Fast Company as one of the Most Creative People in Business.

Rachel and her husband, Mike, live in Washington, DC, with their daughters, Leah and Alana.
