Rachel Wolfson is a journalist, author, public speaker, podcast host and social media influencer based in San Francisco, CA, although she regularly travels the world.
Wolfson has over 10 years of experience writing about technology. She has been covering the blockchain and cryptocurrency space since 2017, focusing primarily on enterprise blockchain.
Wolfson’s journalism career blossomed in 2017 when she started writing about blockchain and cryptocurrency for HuffPost. Wolfson then became a staff writer for Bitcoin Magazine in December 2017. Following this, Wolfson became a full-time contributing writer for Forbes in February 2018, where she spent a year and a half covering enterprise blockchain breaking news and stories. Wolfson currently writes for Cointelegraph. Her work has been featured both online and in print for Forbes Magazine, where she helped write the Blockchain 50 list for the Forbes April 2019 edition.
Wolfson has been praised by multiple publications as a leader in the blockchain space. Entrepreneur Magazine named Wolfson as one of the five women looking to change the world of blockchain. Upfolio included Wolfson on their top 100 blockchain influencer list.
In addition to her passion for writing and journalism, Wolfson is a public speaker who has moderated panels at the most prestigious blockchain and cryptocurrency events in the world, including Consensus, South By Southwest (SXSW), Blockshow, World Crypto Con, DELTA Summit and more. She has also emceed a number of events, such as TRON’s niTRON Summit held in San Francisco on January 2019 and Fintech Junction held in Tel Aviv on June 2019.
Moreover, Wolfson has lectured on enterprise blockchain at Stanford University and has spoken on blockchain panels at various conferences to help educate the public on the blockchain industry. Currently, Wolfson is writing a book on enterprise blockchain, hosting a podcast and is a staff writer for Cointelegraph.
Wolfson received her B.A. in English and Government from The University of Texas at Austin. After completing her undergraduate studies, Wolfson moved to Tel Aviv where she became an Israeli citizen and completed her Master's Degree in Security and Diplomacy from Tel Aviv University.
Wolfson is a dual citizen, holding both a U.S. and Israeli passport.
