Raif Derrazi is a public speaker, HIV/AIDS activist and educator from Utrecht, Netherlands, currently working and living in Los Angeles. In between his busy schedule of acting, modeling, and being a fitness trainer, Raif speaks to audiences at colleges and universities, schools, conferences, organizations, and meetings with teachers, counselors, volunteers, other activists, and parents.

Since Raif's initial diagnosis, he has been passionate about making others aware of their own value and power. Raif understands that when we value our lives, we take care of our lives. For a teenager, it might mean ceasing to engage in risky behaviors. For a parent, it might mean having an open and shameLESS dialogue about sexuality, STD's or gender identification. For others, it might mean tapping into their own humanity and discovering that we ALL have a story to tell and how to seize the day and live life to the fullest, in spite of any obstacles we may occur along the way.
