Raji Rajagopalan is a Partner Director of Software Engineering at Microsoft and the author of the book “Daring to be Different" Stories and Tips from a Woman Leader in Tech”. She has over 20 years of experience in the tech industry, leading global teams and creating products used by a billion+ customers.

She is passionate about sharing her insights and experiences as a woman of color and an immigrant in tech, and how she leveraged her “differentness” as a differentiator. She has spoken at various events and platforms, such as a United Nations panel for the Commission of Status of Women, Microsoft, Amazon, University of Washington, Seattle University, Women in Data Science at Harvard/MIT, and podcasts like Hanselminutes, Advancing Women in Tech, and What is Innovation. She was born in Chennai, India, and currently lives in Seattle, USA.
