Ravi Ramineni is a sports-tech entrepreneur and soccer analytics expert. The former co-founder and CEO of src | ftbl, a football consulting and analytics company, Ramineni founded the analytics department at the Seattle Sounders where he was the architect of the analytics platform that helped the coaching staff identify players for potential signings from both within Major League Soccer (MLS) and from the international market. He also worked with coaching staff to help evaluate the team’s performances and scout opponents. The Sounders' data-driven culture resulted in two MLS Cups and their being named the most successful MLS franchise in the last decade.

Before joining the Sounders, Ramineni worked at Microsoft for over seven years on a variety of projects, including analyzing large-scale data sets of user-behavior on Bing search engine and building a rules-based fraud detection engine for Microsoft online properties.

Ramineni hails from Tenali, India. He has a Bachelor of Engineering degree in electronics & instrumentation and a Master of Science degree in mathematics from Birla Institute of Technology in India as well as a master's degree in computer science from Clemson University.
