Rebecca Lowe

Lead Host for NBC Sports Group’s Premier League Coverage

Lowe has vaulted to the top of sports television. In 2012, she became the first woman to host the FA Cup Final, a six-hour live broadcast from Wembley Stadium. The following year, Sports Illustrated tabbed her as its “Newcomer of the Year.”

The London native, represented by Jon Holmes in the UK, joined NBC Sports Group in 2013 and, in addition to her soccer presence, made her Olympic debut during the 2014 Winter Games as an NBCSN daytime host. Prior to joining NBC, Lowe earned acclaim as co-host of ESPN UK’s coverage of Premier League soccer.

Lowe’s sports television career began when she won the 2002 BBC Talent Search for a football reporter, beating out 650 candidates. She continued to work for BBC until 2007, contributing to the network’s football programming, including Final Score and Football Focus. Additionally, Lowe was one of three BBC reporters at the 2006 FIFA World Cup in Germany, worked for BBC Two at the 2004 African World Cup of Nations in Tunisia and at the Women’s European Championships in Manchester (2005), and covered the FA Women’s Cup Finals from 2003-2007.
