Rebecca Minkoff launched her career with the "I Love New York" t-shirt, part of a five-piece capsule collection that debuted on "The Tonight Show" and appeared in "Us Weekly," becoming an overnight sensation in 2001. In 2005, she designed the "Morning After Bag" (M.A.B.), a pivotal product that established her reputation in handbag design. Together with her brother Uri, she established Rebecca Minkoff LLC. Her first ready-to-wear apparel collection emerged in 2009, expanding her brand into a full lifestyle label that includes jewelry, timepieces, eyewear, and fragrance. The brand's distribution reaches over 900 stores globally.

Beyond design, Rebecca Minkoff is a committed entrepreneur and advocate for women in business. She founded the Female Founder Collective, a network that supports female-owned businesses through education, networks, and mentorship, now encompassing over 9000 members. She also hosts the podcast "Superwomen with Rebecca Minkoff," sharing stories of resilience, failure, and success, which ranks consistently in the Top 100 of its genre. Adding to her presence in the digital age, Minkoff has extended her brand into the metaverse, developing digital fashion collections and collaborating with platforms like MAVION and Roblox. In recognition of her contributions to the industry, she received the Breakthrough Designer Award from the Accessories Council in 2011.

Minkoff's influence continues as an active member of the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA). She supports various philanthropies, including Every Mother Counts and Baby 2 Baby. Based in New York City with her husband, actor and director Gavin Bellour, and their son, Minkoff remains a pivotal figure in both the traditional and digital fashion landscapes.
