Rebecca Romijn is an actress and former supermodel known for her role as Mystique in the trilogy of the X-Men film series, and as Joan from "The Punisher", both of which are based on Marvel Comics.

Romijn started her career in 1991 and appearing on the covers of numerous magazines, including "Elle," "Marie Claire," "Cosmopolitan," "Allure," "Glamour," "GQ" and more. Nearly nine years later she landed her first major movie role as Mystique in "X-Men," "X2," "X-Men: The Last Stand" and later reprised the role in 2011 in "X-Men: First Class."

Following her sucess in the X-Men franchise, Romijn kept up appearances in the TV and film series, "The Producers," "Ugly Betty," "Eastwick," "NTSF:SD:SUV," "Skin Wars," and "The Librarians." In 2019 she joined the cast of "Star Trek: Discovery," playing the role of Number One, first officer of the starship Enterprise 1701.
