Actress Known for Her Role as Evelyn in "Devious Maids"

Rebecca Wisocky graduated New York University from the Experimental Theatre Wingappeared, and later performed in many stage productions, most notably "Amazons and Their Men" (2008), for which she won an Obie Award. On television, she guest starred in "Sex and the City," "Law & Order," "The Sopranos," "NCIS," "Bones," "Big Love," "True Blood" and played recurring roles in "90210," "The Mentalist" and "American Horror Story."

In early 2012, Marc Cherry cast Wisocky in his pilot project, "Devious Maids," as Evelyn, a relative antagonist. Previously, she played Bree's mother on "Desperate Housewives." The series was originally in development to air on ABC, but not picked. On June 2012, Lifetime picked up the pilot with a thirteen-episode order to air on early 2013. The series is currently on its fourth season, which began filming in January of 2016.
