A 25-Year Overnight Success

With one of the most recognizable faces on television today, it’s easy to think that Regis Philbin has always enjoyed the success he does now. Not so. He started in the industry with no experience and no contacts, paying his dues through hard work and trial and error, never losing sight of his goals.

From his early days taking a show from the bottom of the ratings to the top in its local market to the national arena, where competition for ratings and the pressure to stay on top have toppled many a good host, Philbin shares his remarkable journey with humor and lessons for anyone focused on a goal.
