Renat Heuberger is an entrepreneur and a pioneer in the field of sustainability and climate change. He is co-Founder and CEO of South Pole, a global climate finance leader that helps companies meet their net-zero carbon emission targets. Founded in 2006, South Pole has developed and provided finance to over 1,000 projects that reduce over a gigaton of CO2 combined.

Renat was named Social Entrepreneur by the World Economic Forum's Schwab Foundation, is an elected member of the Innovation Council for the Swiss government, and serves on various Boards. Renat holds a master degree in environmental science from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology and has completed executive education programs at INSEAD and the Harvard Kennedy School.
