WNBA Player, Non-Profit Founder & Black Lives Matter Activist

Renee Montgomery is a basketball player for the Atlanta Dream of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). She won national championships with the UConn Huskies in 2009, and with the Minnesota Lynx in 2015 and 2017. She is the founder of the Renee Montgomery Foundation, a non-profit impacting the community through lessons learned in sports.

In 2020, she announced she would be taking the season off in order to commit more time to social justice causes, particularly the Black Lives Matter movement.
