Head of EDM, Red Light Management

Richard Bishop was one of the first rock managers in North America to embrace electronic music and over the last 20 years his clients have included Paul Oakenfold, Paul Van Dyk, BT, Richard Vission, Static Revenger, The Crystal Method (one of only 5 U.S. electronic artists to have earned a platinum album), and Borgore. Richard’s expertise includes a wide knowledge of licensing issues, rights issues, and, as a manager with nearly 30 years experience, his relationships in the electronic community are unparalleled. In 2010, he joined Red Light to form their Electronic Division with Steve Satterthwaite and Randy Reed. One of Richard’s first projects was to act as an executive producer on the highly acclaimed documentary Re:Generation.

Richard Bishop owns Three Artist Management and currently partnered with Red Light Management. Handling the careers of Paul Oakenfold, The Crystal Method,Jason Bentley, Robyn Hitchcock, Borgore and a number of others.

Richard moved to America from England in 1989 and started his career at the tender age of 19 as record label for among others Thomas Dolby, Pylon, Hanoi Rocks, and the Soft Boys.

Through the early 80s he moved into management, handling among others Peter Murphy, Babes in Toyland, Lou Reed, Concrete Blond and Filter.

While still being a music manager, Richard has diversified into film and television, handling a number of composers as well as producing television shows for his clients [The Henry Rollins Show on IFC], and outside network shows such as Tommy Lee Goes To College.
