Richard Byrne is president of Providence Equity Capital Markets. Prior to joining Providence in 2013, Byrne was CEO of Deutsche Bank Securities Inc. He was also the global head of capital markets at Deutsche Bank. Before joining the German financial giant, Byrne was global co-head of the leveraged finance group and global head of credit research at Merrill Lynch. In addition, he was a perennially top-ranked credit analyst. Byrne serves on the boards of the American Gaming Association and New York Road Runners. He earned a B.A. from the State University of New York at Binghamton and an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
