Chief Executive of Christofferson, Robb and Company

Richard Robb is Chief Executive Officer of Christofferson, Robb & Company (CRC), an investment management firm in New York and London that he co-founded with Johan Christofferson in 2002. CRC transfers the risk of European banks’ small and medium enterprise loans to end investors outside of the banking system, enabling banks to improve their capital ratios and free up lines to make new loans. Prior to CRC, Richard was global head of the derivatives and securities businesses of The Dai-Ichi Kangyo Bank, Ltd. He is Professor of Professional Practice in at Columbia University’s School of International & Public Affairs where he has taught since 2001. Richard has a PhD in Economics from The University of Chicago (1985) and a BA from Duke University (1981). Princeton University Press is scheduled to publish his book on economics and philosophy, Tricky Profit, in late 2018.
