Richard W. Graber, (Rick), former U.S. Ambassador to the Czech Republic, recently returned to practice law at Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren s.c. Prior to serving as Ambassador, Rick served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Reinhart -- a National Law Journal Top 250 law firm -- from 2004 to 2006.

Rick is able to share both the political details of his time in Prague and the business opportunities currently available in the Czech Republic and Central and Eastern Europe with interested organizations.

• US Foreign Policy: Among his many accomplishments while Ambassador, Rick was involved in missile defense negotiations and helped remove the requirement that Czech citizens must have a visa to travel to the United States. The visa change helped improve bilateral relations with the countries of Central Europe and advanced inbound and outbound business initiatives. Additionally, Rick is a member of the Council of American Ambassadors and served as chairman of the Republican Party of Wisconsin from 1999 until 2006. 

• Insight on International Legal Practice: Rick worked extensively on judicial reform and other issues to improve the business environment in the Czech Republic
