Rick is originally from New Jersey, where his passion for landscape development began. Having worked in the landscape industry since his early teens, he has more than 24 years of experience in landscape design and construction. His talents started with a strong interest in both art and the outdoors, leading him to a perfect outlet and career path in landscape development.

Rick earned his associate’s degree in business in New Jersey and continued with his bachelor’s degree in landscape design and construction from Colorado State University.

Prior to starting Outside Landscape Group in 2000, he worked for a premier landscape company in Atlanta for eight years, developing his skills in high-end residential landscape projects. His expertise in developing beautiful and successful properties has been refined with his vast experience of working with homeowners on a multitude of different projects. Whether creating a small, intimate garden or an elaborate master plan, Rick’s attention to detail and creativity has built Outside Landscape Group into one of the finest residential landscape companies in the Southeast.

Along with growing Outside Landscape Group, Rick was sought out as an expert in his field to host Home and Garden Television’s Landscape Solutions. This nationally-televised program successfully aired for five years on this well-known cable network, providing Rick the opportunity to share throughout the country his creativity and knowledge in residential landscaping.

As president of Outside Landscape Group, Rick’s passion and philosophy is to provide absolute excellence in the field of residential landscape design and installation, where motivated employees provide well-crafted projects and a diverse range of landscape services.
