Hall-of-Fame Tennis Coach

Over the past 40 years, Rick Macci has the distinction of having trained and worked with the “Who’s Who” of tennis and best professionals in the world from Serena and Venus Williams to Andy Roddick, Maria Sharapova, Jennifer Capriati, Mary Pierce, Anastasia Myskina and many more. The number one tennis coach worldwide, his ability to mold a tennis player is unmatched by any teacher in world and has resulted in five players that have reached number one in the world on the ATP and WTA Tours along with eight Grand Slam Champions.

Additionally, his junior players have won 322 USTA National Championships and four Junior Grand Slams since 1985. Macci is a seven-time USPTA (United States Professional Tennis Association) Coach of the year, was inducted into the 2010 USPTA Florida Hall of Fame, and in 2017 was the youngest ever to be inducted into the USPTA Hall of Fame which is the highest honor in the oldest and largest association of tennis-teaching professionals.

Currently, over 60 WTA and ATP players (including a few in the top ten), work with Macci on a regular basis. Off of the court, Macci is a sought out motivational speaker and, in November 2021, was featured in top Warner Brother’s movie King Richard (portrayed by Jon Bernthal) for his work in making “the next two Michael Jordan’s” in women’s sports – Venus and Serena Williams.
